Executive Air Taxi Corporation (Bismarck) has secured approval from Bismarck city officials to build a 280 x 120 foot extension to an existing hangar at the city-owned airport, according to the Bismarck Tribune.

The report covers a late May 2024 meeting of City Commissioners that dealt with the matter, which is also an amendment of a 2022 agreement between the FBO and the city and would encroach on existing parking facilities. The plan encountered some pushback from the other FBO at the airport, Bismarck Aero Center, who raised the parking matter, as well as building visibility and conflict of interest issues. However, Executive Air Taxi won the day after it agreed to replace the lost parking space at its own cost.

Executive Air Taxi Corporation is a full-service aviation company and FBO that offers aviation services including fueling, handling, charter flights, maintenance, flight training, aircraft rentals, aircraft management, air medical services, scenic flights, and aircraft sales.

The turboprop fleet includes a Beech (twin turboprop) King Air C90, F90, B200, and 350. In May, ch-aviation reported that the United States' Corporate Aircraft Association had selected Executive Air Taxi as its preferred FBO at Bismarck.
