Maersk Air Cargo (DJ, Billund) has retired one of its two corporate jets, a GVII-G600, ch-aviation research has revealed.
OY-MMM (msn 73125) was retired from operations in December 2023, when it was ferried for maintenance to Savannah International. It was then ferried via Augusta Bush Regional to St. Louis Downtown on May 14, 2024, before being re-registered as N167KF by a new undisclosed owner.
The Danish shipping firm continues to operate a single G450, OY-APM (msn 4305), which was based out of Copenhagen Kastrup, but has been parked at Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH, presumably for maintenance, since February 2024. The carrier did not respond to ch-aviation's query as to whether it would continue in-house business jet operations.
Maersk Air Cargo also operates a fleet of B767 freighters as a part of parent Maersk's core shipping business.
