Silver Air (United States of America) (SIS, Santa Barbara, CA) has acquired the management rights of a Bombardier Business Aircraft Global Express formerly managed by Jet Edge (EDG, Van Nuys), with ch-aviation research revealing that N228SS (msn 9124) went across to Silver Air in early May 2024. The aircraft's exit from VistaJet Group Holding-owned Jet Edge leaves it without a Global Express type in its fleet.

Federal Aviation Administration data indicates N228SS is owned by SWS Venture Capital Services LLC, a California-based boutique venture capital firm founded by American entrepreneur and Green Dot Corporation Founder/CEO Steve Streit.
