Hai Au Aviation (HAI, Hanoi Noi Bai International) has applied for a United States Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP) and exemption to launch charter flights to and from the country using its fleet of three Falcon 8X business jets.
The Vietnamese business charter specialist was previously authorised to fly to the United States on an ad hoc basis, operating 12 round-trip charters into the country. It is now seeking a permanent permit to operate solely between Viet Nam and the US (including via other points but with no commercial rights).
Hai Au Aviation owns two Falcon 8X and leases another from British Virgin Islands-based Pacific Pearl Co Ltd. It also owns two floats-equipped Cessna (single turboprop) C208EX Grand Caravans used for scheduled flights, sightseeing tours, and other charters in Viet Nam. The company is owned by three Vietnamese individuals.
