Breeze Airways (MX, Salt Lake City) will end scheduled E195 operations on September 3, 2024, ch-aviation research has revealed.
The ch-aviation schedules module shows Breeze’s last scheduled flights with the type will take place from Raleigh/Durham to Jacksonville International, FL, Burlington, VT, and New Orleans International, as well as from Norfolk International, VA to New Orleans.
This is part of Breeze's ongoing fleet renewal process, which involves replacing its E190s and E195s with newer A220-300s.
However, the Embraer jets aren’t going anywhere. Earlier this year, Founder and Chief Executive David Neeleman said they will be used for charters, particularly for sports teams.
Breeze Airways wasn’t immediately available to comment. Meanwhile, the E190s are still scheduled to be operated at least until March 2025.
The ch-aviation fleets module shows Breeze’s fleet comprises 39 aircraft, including twenty-five A220-300s (with an average age of 1.4 years), ten E190s (17 years on average), and four E195s (14.1 years).
