Satena (9R, Bogotá) has ordered eight DHC-6-400s from De Havilland Aircraft of Canada (DHC, Toronto Downsview) with deliveries scheduled to start later this year.

De Havilland said in a statement that the six Twin Otters will help the state-owned Colombian carrier provide essential air connectivity throughout the country by opening up access to remote communities.

The ch-aviation fleets module shows that Satena’s fleet comprises 13 aircraft, namely four ATR42-500s, four ATR42-600s, two ATR72-600s, and three E145s. All the ATR - Avions de Transport Régional turboprops are leased from Nordic Aviation Capital.
