Charter bizav company Bimava Taxi Aéreo Ltda, dba Dream Fly Taxi Aéreo (São Paulo Campo de Marte), operator of E110, PT-OCW (msn 110273), has been caught up in a drug trafficking scandal in which eight individuals were arrested for using private jets to smuggle cocaine across the Americas, Europe, and Africa.
The São Paulo civil police recently seized PT-OCW after the 1980-build Embraer turboprop was found in a yard located in Campo de Marte in the Santana neighbourhood, the newspaper O'Globo reported. The Brazilian civil aviation registry states that PT-OCW is owned by Pablito Baena Castilho Aviation and operated by Dream Fly Taxi Aéreo.
Brazil’s federal police recently executed a search and seizure warrant on Pablito Baena Castilho, the local organised crime watchdog (OCCRP) said in its July report.
Dream Fly Taxi Aéreo obtained its Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) in 2016 and is authorised to operate in national charters. According to the company's operations specifications, Magno Rezende Dias is the accountable executive; Regis Ferreira Rodrigues is director of operations and chief pilot; Thales Maciel Lima is maintenance director, and Rodrigo Ferreira Rodrigues is operational safety director. None of these Brazilian citizens are reported to be among the people arrested.
