Legend Airlines (Romania) (LZ, Bucharest Henri Coanda) has requested authorisation from the US Department of Transportation (DOT) to operate charter flights carrying persons, property, and mail between the European Union and the United States.
The Romanian ACMI/charter specialist requested expedited processing of its application for an exemption and foreign air carrier permit to allow it to begin the proposed services as soon as possible.
The ch-aviation fleets module shows that Legend Airlines operates a fleet of four A340-300s, two of which are currently wet-leased to Italy’s Neos Air (NO, Milan Malpensa). ADS-B data shows that the other two are currently stored.
