Mukamalah Aviation (Dammam) has announced its new brand name, Al Oula Aviation, which it says is a nod to the historical significance of being Saudi Arabia's first aviation service provider. The company announced the brand name change on August 16 on its social media platforms.

The Saudi Aramco-owned charter, MRO, and airport services company claims to operate more than 60 aircraft and manage nine Aramco-owned airports and 300 heliports around the country. According to its website, it operates seven B737-800s, two Hawker Beechcraft 900XPs, three Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 350s, three Air Tractor AT-802s, five Airbus H145 helicopters, twenty-four Leonardo AW139s, and two Bell Helicopter 505 Jet Ranger X.

In April, ch-aviation reported that Mukamalah was busy expanding its customer base after spinning off from Saudi Aramco in 2023. While still owned by the Saudi petro-giant, it was working on the next stage of its development and wanted to expand into aircraft maintenance services, fleet management, and customised VIP private charters. The carrier also undertakes medical evacuations, geological surveying, and search and rescue missions.
