Leading Edge Air Services Corporation, better known as passenger charter operator LEASCOR (Angeles City Clark International), will take delivery of a Cessna 408 in the second half of 2025 after the Textron Aviation aircraft recently obtained type certification from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). A wholly owned entity of ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative, LEASCOR will become the country's first SkyCourier operator.
“We are excited to connect underserved communities in the Philippines with the new 19-seat SkyCourier turboprop, which will complement our present fleet,” said ACDI Chairman Gilbert S Llanto. “It will surely boost our business lines in tourism, agriculture and food, aviation, mobility, and the construction industry across the archipelago.”
According to ch-aviation fleets data, LEASCOR currently operates a pair of ATR72-500s, although one of them, RP-C9421 (msn 931), has been AOG for some time. ADS-B flight tracking indicates that the other ATR - Avions de Transport Régional turboprop, RP-C9962 (msn 962), is flying.
ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative is the largest cooperative in the Philippines. It serves members of the Philippines Armed Forces (AFP) and other uniformed personnel. Members include active service personnel, retirees, reservists, civilian employees of the AFP and other uniformed personnel and dependents. LEASCOR was established in 2016 as the cooperative's air chartering arm.
