Saltchuk has taken delivery of its first GVII-G500, the Seattle-based holding company's second in-house corporate jet.
N1982S (msn 72140), a brand-new aircraft, was delivered directly from the manufacturer's facilities at Savannah International to Seattle Boeing Field on August 12, 2024. The aircraft has since been operating to Boise and Anchorage Ted Stevens.
The large Gulfstream Aerospace business jet is owned by 331DC, Saltchuk's subsidiary. It joins the group's other corporate jet, Falcon 2000DX N331DC (msn 601). Neither of the two aircraft is certified for commercial operations under Part 135.
Saltchuk Aviation owns Northern Air Cargo, Aloha Air Cargo, Ryan Air Alaska, and StratAir. The holding company's non-aviation businesses include shipping, energy distribution, and marine services.
