XL Airways France (Paris CDG) has announced that it has been sold by Icelandic bank Straumur to X-Air Aviation, a subsidiary of Swiss-US investment group BeachSide Capital, on November 7. BeachSide Capital already owns XL Airways Germany (Frankfurt International) which shares its name with XL Airways France as the two carriers were both owned by XL Airways UK (London Gatwick) until the latter went out of business in 2008.
