Swiss business aviation firm inX.aero will take over the management and running of the aircraft of Slovenia's Alpavia (AL, Ljubljana). Jetcom, which until now managed the fleet, will continue to be a part of the joint venture with support services.
"This change will allow inX.aero to manage the aircraft directly in partnership with Alpavia, improving service and delivering a superior travel experience," the companies said in a statement.
Alpavia's in-house fleet currently comprises two E145s, seating up to 50 passengers each. The aircraft are registered in Slovenia where they are operated on Alpavia's AOC. It also manages the charter of a B737-700 operated by Greece's Lumiwings (L9, Foggia Gino Lisa). inX.aero and Jetcom, headquartered in Switzerland and Italy, respectively, do not have their own AOCs.
The aircraft will remain on the Slovenian AOC, inX.aero confirmed to ch-aviation.
Besides the two E145s, inX.aero is also brokering the charter of one Citation Mustang operated by Swiss Flight Club, one Learjet 45 operated by Jetology (JTY), and one Hawker 4000 operated by Slam Air.
