Fractional ownership company Gomes Maia Aviation has acquired its first Citation Jet and, according to ch-aviation research, the jet was the last of its type to have been operated under Trego Dugan's Part 135 fleet.

PS-GME (msn 525-0108) is 29.1 years old and was previously operated as N108CJ. Its final flight under its US registration occurred on September 3, 2024, from Fort Pierce International to Hilton Head and back. ADS-B data shows that between September 24 and September 26, 2024, the aircraft was ferried to Belo Horizonte Pampulha in Brazil, where it remained parked until October 3. Since then, it has been operating domestic flights within and near the state of Minas Gerais.

Gomes Maia Aviation, a Brazilian operator specialising in fractional ownership, does not currently hold certification for commercial air taxi operations and the aircraft is certified for private flights only.

However, CEO Thaissa Gomes said on the Histórias Reais podcast in June 2024 that "the company is studying the air taxi market as a great opportunity for growth in an expanding sector". The newly acquired Citation Jet joins a Citation S/II in the operator's fleet, both now available under the fractional ownership model. The S/II is registered to sister company GMA Volare Jets.

With the retirement of this aircraft, Trego Dugan Aviation no longer operates the Citation Jet variant under its Part 135 certification. Nevertheless, it continues to operate two sister variants, one Citation Jet 1 and one Citation Jet 4, along with one Citation Bravo and two Learjet 45s.
