Skyservice Business Aviation (SYB, Toronto Pearson) broke ground on a new fixed base operation (FBO) and hangar complex at Napa with aims of improving its offering in the luxury Californian leisure hotspot.

"Napa is a truly remarkable region in the United States, celebrated for its exceptional wines, culinary mastery and luxurious accommodations. Now is the ideal moment to connect the local business aviation community with a private jet centre that aligns with the esteemed reputation of this region," President and CEO Benjamin Murray said.

The new 60,000-square-foot (5,570-square-metre) complex is scheduled to open in late 2025. It will include an FBO facility, a restaurant, office space, a hangar, and a private ramp.

Skyservice currently has seven FBOs in Canada (including two each at Toronto Pearson and Montréal Trudeau airports) and a further six (excluding Napa) in the United States. The company also includes aircraft management, charter, maintenance, and sales services, and has an operated fleet comprising 56 business jets, mainly in the midsize, large, and long-range categories.
