Jet Aviation Flight Services (JAS, Teterboro) recently updated its Part 135-certified fleet by adding its first Hawker 900XP and Challenger 300 while simultaneously retiring its B737-800(BBJ) and Citation Sovereign types, ch-aviation research has revealed.

Hawker 900XP N786QV (msn HA-0052) is 16.3 years old and was previously operated privately in the US. Available for charter since August 2024, it can accommodate up to eight passengers, according to the operator.

The Challenger 300, N1721M (msn 20143), is 17.8 years old and was also privately operated in the US. This aircraft can carry up to nine passengers and was inducted into Jet Aviation Flight Services' fleet in the same month as the Hawker 900XP. It conducted its first flight under the 'JAS' code on September 16, between Columbia, SC and Washington Dulles.

In conjunction with these additions, Jet Aviation Flight Services has retired its sole B737-800(BBJ). According to ADS-B data, the 23.1-year-old N908BH (msn 32915) last operated on August 5, 2024, flying from Newburgh to Georgetown, DE, where it is now stationed.

Additionally, two Citation Sovereigns, N680MB (msn 680-0093) and N997C (msn 680-0216), were also removed from the certified fleet in August 2024. The former is 18.1 years old, while the latter is 16.3 years old, and their exits mark the end of the Citation Sovereign's availability for charter at the airline.

Jet Aviation Flight Services is part of the group Jet Aviation, and according to the latest US FAA data operates a fleet of 53 aircraft under its Part 135 certificate, including one Challenger 300, one Challenger 350, one Citation Latitude, one Falcon 2000(LX), three Falcon 2000EX EASy, one Falcon 2000LXS, seven Falcon 7X, two Falcon 900EX EASy, two G280s, five G450s, three G550s, four G650s, six G650ERs, one GV, four GVII-G500s, one GVII-G600, four Global 5000s, two Global 6000s, two Global 7500s, one Hawker 900XP, and one Praetor 600 that was recently inducted. The operator's charter fleet also includes three helicopters - one AW139, one Sikorsky S-76C+, and one Sikorsky S-76D.
