Amjet Executive (AMJ, Athens) has disposed of its last business jet, a Falcon 2000EX EASy, which was recently registered in the United States, according to ch-aviation research. SX-FAM (msn 75) completed its final flight under Amjet Executive’s 'AMJ' code on December 22, 2023, flying from Geneva to Paris Le Bourget.
Before its transfer to the US, the 18.5-year-old jet flew only once in 2024, on May 6, from Paris Le Bourget to Kortrijk. It was then ferried to Bartlesville on August 26 with stops at Reykjavik Keflavik and Bangor International. Now registered as N222JS, the eight-seat jet is owned by Jet Sense Aviation, a specialist in aircraft sales and acquisitions, and is currently on the market.
Initially operated by Luxaviation Belgium (AAB, Brussels National), the aircraft was subsequently registered in France and the Isle of Man before joining Amjet Executive’s fleet in 2022.
According to the latest Eurocontrol data, this was Amjet Executive’s final operational aircraft. Historically, the company operated a diverse fleet, including one Boeing Business Jet B737-700(BBJ), one Falcon 2000EX EASy, one Falcon 2000LX, one Falcon 50, one Falcon 7X, one Falcon 8X (for which it was the launch customer), one Falcon 900DX, and one McDonnell Douglas MD-83.
According to Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority records, Amjet Executive holds a Type A air carrier operating licence permitting it to operate aircraft with 20 or more seats, contingent on an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) obtained in 2010. In 2017, the United States Department of Transportation granted it a Foreign Air Carrier Permit.
Founded in 2009 by Abakar Manany, a Chad-born businessman and former minister of state, Amjet Executive has offered services in aircraft management, private jet charter, maintenance, acquisitions, and sales. In 2011, it established a Swiss branch, Amjet Executive Services SA, in Geneva, focused on brokerage services. Both companies are currently active, according to the national company registers of Greece and Switzerland.
ch-aviation has contacted Amjet Executive for clarification on its current operational status.
