Union Aviation (UAG, Riga) has expanded its Latvian-registered fleet with its first Challenger 604, as revealed by ch-aviation research. RVSM data from the Caribbean and South American Monitoring Agency (CARSAMMA) indicates that the aircraft was operated by Union Aviation while under its former Aruban registration.

YL-TIM (msn 5543) completed its inaugural flight under Latvian registration and Union Aviation's 'UAG' code on October 31, 2024, flying between Riga and Kaunas International. Prior to this, the 22.3-year-old Bombardier Business Aircraft jet was registered as P4-EYE and arrived in the Latvian capital from Cologne/Bonn on October 13. Originally delivered to Flexjet (LXJ, Cleveland Cuyahoga Country), it changed operators multiple times while retaining a US registration until 2021, when it was exported to Russia and joined the fleet of Aviaservice (Russian Federation) (KZN, Kazan International) for a year.

Union Aviation's Latvian-registered fleet now comprises 10 aircraft, including one Challenger 604, one Gulfstream Aerospace G450, one Global Express, one Global Express XRS, one Legacy 600, four Legacy 650s, and one Lineage 1000. Additionally, it operates a recently added fifth Legacy 650, which is registered in San Marino.

Founded in 2021, Union Aviation specialises in private jet charter flights and aircraft management. The company has a wholly-owned subsidiary, Nord Aviation Services, which provides ground handling services based in Riga. Union Aviation is part of Amber Jet Group, which also offers aircraft sales and acquisitions.
