Luxaviation Portugal (LMJ, Lisbon) has retired its sole Citation XLS+, as confirmed by ch-aviation research, even though Luxaviation Group will continue to operate the type within its global fleet.

CS-EFF (msn 560-6185) last operated under Luxaviation Portugal's 'LMJ' code on August 17, 2024, beginning with a flight between St. Nazaire and Palma de Mallorca, followed by a leg to London Luton, and ending with a trip to Paris Le Bourget. After completing a test flight on October 3, it was later re-registered as YU-MPA and departed to Belgrade Nikola Tesla on November 6.

The 9.5-year-old jet, configured for up to eight passengers during its time with Luxaviation Portugal, currently lacks an assigned operator, as per the Serbian civil aviation regulator (CAD). Initially delivered to EFS European Flight Service (EUW, Gothenburg City), it flew under a Swedish registration for three years before joining Luxaviation Portugal.

Following this retirement, Luxaviation has paused Cessna Aircraft Company operations in Portugal, where it maintains a fleet of four aircraft, namely one Falcon 2000, one Falcon 900LX, one Global 6000, and one Global 6500. Luxaviation Group holds multiple AOCs worldwide, managing a diverse fleet and offering private jet charters, aircraft management, acquisitions and sales, and fractional ownership services, all supported by a network of fixed-base operations (FBOs) at several international locations.
