Let's Jett has expanded its Part 135-certified fleet with the addition of a first Challenger 300, according to ch-aviation research. This was the last Bombardier Business Aircraft under the certificate of Journey Aviation (JNY, Boca Raton).
Added to Let's Jett's fleet in October 2024, N41DP (msn 20010) is a 20.4-year-old aircraft that had been operated by Journey Aviation since August 2020. It was last active under the 'JNY' code on June 24, travelling between Cleveland Hopkins and Fort Lauderdale Executive. On August 26, it performed a test flight, followed by a leg to Janesville, where it remained parked until October 14. On that date, it completed two roundtrips to Kitchener and has been flying ever since.
Specialising in private jet charters, Let's Jett's latest addition joins a single 11.1-year-old Learjet 70 in its charter fleet. The operator previously had a sister-type Learjet 75 under its certificate, which was retired in June.
Journey Aviation, meanwhile, no longer operates any Bombardier aircraft under its Part 135 fleet, which now consists of 17 jets, including one Dassault Aviation Falcon 2000, three G550s, seven GIV-SPs, five GVs, and one Embraer Executive Jets Praetor 600. The company, which focuses on charter flights, aircraft management, and acquisitions and sales, has also recently added a Sikorsky S-76B helicopter to its certificate.
