KW Executive Air Charter has temporarily paused executive jet charter operations following the retirement of its sole Citation Jet 4 Gen2 from its Part 135-certified fleet in November 2024. Manager Joseph Lamiroult confirmed to ch-aviation the company will be replacing the aircraft soon.
N375GR (msn 525C-0333), a 4.2-year-old jet, was under KW Executive Air Charter's Part 135 certificate since August, and has now moved to the charter fleet of Northern Jet Management, where it will be the first of type.
Following this retirement, KW Executive Air Charter is currently providing charter services with three Cessna 441 turboprops.
Meanwhile, the newly added Citation Jet 4 Gen2 is yet to commence operations under the 'NJM' code. It joins other Citation-type aircraft in Northern Jet Management's charter fleet, including five Citation Jet 3s, two Citation Jet 3+, a Citation XLS, a Citation Sovereign, and two Citation Xs, alongside 17 additional jets.
Northern Jet Management recently completed a merger with The HeliTeam, a Part 135 operator that traded as SpeedBird. Some aircraft have already been transferred to Northern Jet Management’s Part 135 fleet. The HeliTeam certificate includes two Citation Jet 2s, as well as one Challenger 605, one Challenger 605, and an Eurocopter EC130.
