Presidential Aviation (PRD, Fort Lauderdale Executive) has resumed Learjet 60 charter operations in the United States, adding N317MM (msn 60-236) to its Part 135-certified fleet in November 2024.
The 22.9-year-old aircraft was previously listed under the Part 135 certificate of Florida Jet Service, where it was the sole unit of the type. It was last active on May 20 under the 'FJS' code, flying between Miami International and Fort Lauderdale Executive, remaining parked there since.
Although it has yet to operate under the 'PRD' code, Presidential Aviation has announced the addition of the jet, configured to carry up to seven passengers, to its charter fleet. The company has operated five different Learjet 60s since 2002, the most recent being in service between 2015 and 2017.
This newly added aircraft joins a 12-strong fleet under Presidential Aviation's Part 135 certificate - a Challenger 601-3A, a Citation X, a Falcon 7X, a Falcon 900LX, two G200s, two G550s, two GIV-SPs, a Hawker 800XP, and a Phenom 300E. The operator retired its only Citation XLS+ in October.
