STAjets (KFB, Santa Ana, CA) has retired the Citation Excel type of its Part 135-certified fleet in November 2024, as revealed by ch-aviation research.

N221VP (msn 560-5363) was last active under the 'KFB' code on October 29, flying between Salt Lake City and Palm Springs International. The 20.7-year-old aircraft, configured to accommodate up to eight passengers, had been part of STAjets' fleet since 2021, and is currently not listed as Part 135-certified under any operator. The company had previously managed three Citation Excel jets between 2021 and 2023.

Following this retirement, STAjets continues to operate other Citation jet aircraft under its Part 135 certificate, including a Citation XLS, a Citation Encore, and a Citation Sovereign. Additionally, STAjets offers a Challenger 604, a G200, a G280, three G450s, seven G550s, two GIVs, seven GIV-SPs, a GV, a GVII-G600, a recently added Legacy 600, and a Phenom 300 for charter services.
