SPCTA Taxi Aéreo commenced Bombardier Business Aircraft operations with the addition of its first Global 5000, ch-aviation research has shown.
PT-CTA (msn 9305) is a 16.5-year-old ultra-long-range jet configured to seat up to 16 passengers. It was previously operated privately in the United States as N815PA, being last active on December 14, 2024. On that day, it flew between Alton and São Roque Sao Paulo Catarina via Fort Lauderdale International. The aircraft was deregistered in the United States on December 18 and reregistered in Brazil two days later, operating for the first time as PT-CTA on December 26, on a flight to Punta del Este.
The newly inducted Bombardier Business Jet aircraft is currently not authorised to conduct air taxi operations. The aircraft type is not listed on SPCTA Taxi Aéreo's RBAC 135 Operations Specifications.
The Global 5000 joins SPCTA Taxi Aéreo's charter fleet comprising a 14.8-year-old Phenom 300 and an AW109 helicopter.
