AXIS Aviation (BQA, Zurich) has added its first G700, to be operated by the group's Axis Aviation San Marino unit. It has also retired its only PC-12 and transferred the only G650 from the Swiss AOC to AXIS Aviation Austria, ch-aviation research has revealed.

The G700, T7-MINT (msn 87033), is a brand-new ultra-long-range jet. It was first active under its current registration on December 19, 2024, when it was ferried to Shannon after several test flights around the Gulfstream Aerospace site at Savannah International airport.

In turn, the Swiss operator's sole PC-12, HB-FVD (msn 1072), was last active under the 'BQA' code on December 3, flying between St. Moritz and Buochs. On December 9, it was ferried (still under the Swiss registration) to Altenrhein, where it was reregistered the following day as N963CB. Between December 16 and 18, the 17-year-old Pilatus Aircraft travelled to Ogden in the United States, with stops at Belfast International, Reykjavik Keflavik, Narsarsuaq, Goose Bay, Bangor International, and Menomonie Municipal/Score Field. Currently it is not certified for Part 135 charter operations. AXIS Aviation confirmed to ch-aviation that there are no plans to replace the retired PC-12.

The Swiss operator has also transferred the only G650 it operated in Switzerland, HB-IVJ (msn 6062), to AXIS Aviation Austria as OE-LVJ. The 12.7-year-old aircraft, configured to seat up to 14 passengers, was last active under the 'BQA' code for Switzerland's AXIS Aviation on December 17, flying between Nassau International and Zurich. Two days later, it departed to Vienna already bearing its new Austrian registration, and was first active under the 'BQA' code for AXIS Aviation Austria on December 27, on a flight to Nassau International. The company told ch-aviation that there are no imminent plans for other aircraft transfers within the group.

Following these updates, AXIS Aviation now operates three Swiss-registered aircraft, including a Challenger 601-3A, a recently added Falcon 2000LXS, and a Falcon 2000S. The Austrian division is managing two local-registered aircraft, a G550 and a G650. The San Marino unit, in addition to the G700, also inducted three executive jets in late 2024 - a Falcon 2000LXS, a Falcon 7X, and a Global 5000 - which operate alongside a Hawker 800XPi and a Learjet 31A.
