L.J. Aviation (LJY, Latrobe) retired the sole G450 and Citation Jet 4 Gen2 from its Part 135-certified fleet in December 2024, ch-aviation research has revealed.

The Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft, N986SP (msn 4140), was last active under L.J. Aviation's 'LJY' code on December 19, flying between Chicago Midway and Pittsburgh International. The 16.2-year-old jet was operated by the company since 2020 and is not currently listed as Part 135-certified.

Meanwhile, the operator's only Citation Jet 4 Gen2, N184G (msn 525C-0391), was last active under the company's 'LJY' code on December 9, between Charleston International and Latrobe. The 2.5-year-old aircraft is not currently listed as certified for charter operations. L.J. Aviation had operated it since 2023.

Following these retirements, L.J. Aviation's charter fleet now consists of 17 fixed-wing aircraft, including a Challenger 300, a Challenger 350, two Challenger 3500s, two Citation Jet 3s, a Citation Jet 4, two Citation Latitude, two Citation XLS+, two G280s, a G650ER, a PC-12, and a King Air B300, as well as a single helicopter, a Bell 407.

In addition to charter services, L.J. Aviation provides aircraft management, maintenance, and consulting, and runs a fixed-base operator (FBO) at Latrobe.
