Business jet operator Advance Aviation (Thailand) (AAX, Bangkok Don Mueang) has ordered a Gulfstream G280 to cater for the growing demand for private jet services, according to the local Brand Buffet digital news platform. Founder and CEO Chai Nasylvanta said he expects delivery of the aircraft, for which he paid USD22 million, by March 2026.

In addition to a fleet of four Airbus Helicopters, Advance Aviation currently operates two Gulfstream G200s, HS-LEE (msn 090) and HS-HAN (msn 153). The company said in a statement that the acquisition of the 10-passenger G280 represents an "upgrade."

Chai told ch-aviation that he had hoped to get the G280 in March 2025. But he said the build, which began in Israel, was disrupted by the fighting between Israel and Gaza. "Most of manpower was drawn from the factory to fight the war," he said. "Gulfstream invoked the excusable delay clause to delay the delivery." Chai says, based on current information, he expects delivery 12 months late.

Advance Aviation also recently opened a 20,000 square foot (1,860 sqm) hangar at Don Mueang, which can accommodate business jets as big as the G700.
