BinAir (Munich) will launch a weekdaily service from Albert to Toulouse Blagnac on January 7. It will use one of its Metroliners on the route that will be operated in cooperation with French tour operator Vaillant Voyages. Albert Picardie airport has struggled to attract scheduled services over the last couple of years with both Jet2 (United Kingdom) (LS, Leeds/Bradford) and DAT - Danish Air Transport (Kolding) cancelling planned services to the UK again. The airport is however very close to one of the French Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) plants in Méaulte explaining the plan for a route to Toulouse Blagnac.
