Georgia Jet (Lawrenceville) is no longer listing any Part 135-certified jets following the phase-out of the last Hawker 400XP it operated, ch-aviation research shows. This follows the company’s decision to suspend charter operations in February 2024.

The retired Hawker 400XP, N442GJ (msn RK-442), was a 19.8-year-old jet configured for up to eight passengers. It had been parked at Lawrenceville since January 26, 2024, before flying to Stuart Witham on September 19. It has been based there and active since December.

Georgia Jet suspended charter operations in February 2024 citing pilot shortages, according to CEO Lea Williams' statement to Private Jet Card Comparisons. At the time, Williams confirmed that a sister company running a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility would continue to operate and that there were no plans to surrender its Part 135 certificate, which included five Hawker 400XPs.

Of the five units previously operated by Georgia Jet, one has now been removed from its Part 135 certificate, one was exported to Brazil in October 2024, where it operates privately, and three others are currently in storage, one at Lawrenceville since April 2023 and two at Stuart Witham since September 2024.

ch-aviation contacted Georgia Jet regarding the future of its charter certificate and maintenance business but has yet to receive a response.
