Air Europa (UX, Palma de Mallorca) is expected to start scheduled operations with B737-8s on June 23, 2025, on the route linking Madrid Barajas with Amsterdam Schiphol. The Spanish carrier has delayed the aircraft's entry into service several times but previously set the inaugural flight for September 2025.
Just one day after its debut on the Amsterdam route, the B737-8 is set to operate on the Madrid-Brussels National service, the AeroRoutes aviation data website reported. B737-8s are also scheduled to operate flights from the Spanish capital to Paris Orly and London Gatwick starting from October 1, 2025, and January 10, 2026, respectively.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, the carrier has twenty B737-8s on order from Boeing. The airline will also add ten more of the jets dry-leased from AerCap. It is yet to take delivery of the first MAX.
The company currently operates 43 aircraft: eighteen B737-800s, ten B787-8s, and fifteen B787-9s.
