Vista America has removed all aircraft from the Part 135 certificate of XOJET Aviation following the retirement of two CRJ200LRs and twenty-one Citation X, ch-aviation research reveals.
The two 27.5-year-old Bombardier Aerospace aircraft, N201XJ (msn 7187) and N221XJ (msn 7186), have been operating under the 'SGX' code for Tri-State Charter since March 4 and 6, 2025, respectively. This follows the decision of VistaJet Group Holding to outsource XOJET's East Coast shuttle services in the United States, transferring both aircraft to Tri-State Charter, which trades as Slate Aviation.
XOJET's Part 135 certificate also included twenty-one Citation X, which were put up for sale in 2024. While their formal removal from the certificate only occurred now, one aircraft was retired in 2023, followed by four in the first half of 2024 and sixteen in the second half of the year. Fourteen are currently parked at Red Wing, two at Greensboro Piedmont Triad International, two at Van Nuys, one at Lincoln, NE, one at Statesville, and one at Wichita Eisenhower.
With all aircraft now removed from XOJET’s Part 135 certificate, Vista America continues operations under three other air carrier certificates, collectively listing 94 aircraft.
The largest, JetSelect Aviation, operates 81 aircraft, including thirty-five Challenger 300s, ten Challenger 350s, a Challenger 3500, six Citation Excel, a G300, eight GIV-SPs, eight G450s, three GVs, six Global 5000s, and three Global 7500s.
Jet Edge, which has been gradually retiring aircraft and transferring others to JetSelect's certificate, has a Part 135 fleet of 10 aircraft, comprising a Global 7500, a Legacy 650, six G280s, a G550, and a G650ER. Jet Edge's certificate included 21 aircraft as of March 2024.
The third carrier, Red Wing Aviation, currently lists a total of three Part 135-certified Citation Excel aircraft. Similarly to Jet Edge, Red Wing's fleet size has been decreasing, partly due to Vista America's decision to sell the Citation Ultra and Citation V fleet and partly due to transfers to JetSelect's Part 135 operations, including three Citation Excels recently. In March 2024, Red Wing’s charter fleet stood at 28 aircraft.
