Jung Sky (JSY, Zagreb Franjo Tuđman) plans to begin a fleet upgrade in 2026, co-founder and co-owner Krešimir Jung has told the Croatian news website tportal. The company intends to replace the two Citation Jet 2s it operates with more and larger aircraft, though the specific types have not yet been disclosed.

"Starting the fleet change in 2026 would be ideal," Jung explained, noting that the process would continue into 2028. The goal is to build a fleet of three larger and more efficient jets. In the long term, Jung targets a fleet size of four aircraft, although the addition of a fourth aircraft is the medium-to-long-term plan.

Jung revealed that the limiting factor was the availability of pilots. "The moment we’re sure we can find and acquire more pilots, we’ll start searching for a new jet," he said.

The executive also highlighted a contingency plan in case the upgrade is delayed. Should the transition to a new aircraft type be postponed, the company may opt to acquire another Citation Jet 2, extending the current fleet’s operational life for an additional one to two years.
