GlobeAir (GAC, Linz Blue Danube) has launched a fractional ownership programme with brand-new Citation M2 Gen2s, the company announced at AERO Friedrichshafen 2025.
The programme offers 12.5% to 50% shares in Citation M2 Gen2s configured for up to six passengers, with guaranteed access, fixed monthly fees, and no positioning or fuel surcharges. GlobeAir manages maintenance in-house, along with crew and insurance. The first aircraft of the type has yet to be delivered.
Chief executive Bernhard Fragner first revealed plans to launch the fractional ownership programme in an exclusive interview with ch-aviation in early 2024. The company aims to rapidly build up a fleet of ten Citation M2 Gen2s, starting the replacement of the 19 four-seat Citation Mustangs it currently operates, which average 16.1 years of age and face increasing parts availability issues.
