National Airlines (N8, Orlando Sanford) has asked the US Department of Transportation for approval to convert its charter services from Dubai International to Afghanistan to scheduled services from March 2013. It currently operates B757-200 N176CA (MSN 24543) on such routes on behalf of the US government and other organizations and plans to offer a five times weekly scheduled service from Dubai via Kabul and Bagram to Kandahar.
