Seaborne Airlines (BB, San Juan Luis Muñoz Marin) has announced plans to take over three routes that will be dropped by American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) as part of its closure of the San Juan Luis Muñoz Marin hub by the end of March. From April 1, Seaborne will offer daily Saab 340B services from San Juan to Dominica Melville Hall, Fort de France and Pointe à Pitre taking over these routes from American subsidiary Executive Airlines (Puerto Rico) (San Juan Luis Muñoz Marin) that will be closed down on the same date. American has signed an interline agreement with Seaborne allowing passengers to continue to connect to the new and existing Seaborne destinations via San Juan.
