Austrian Airlines (OS, Vienna) and parent Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) have been forced to temporarily cancel flights to Tripoli International in the coming days after the two carriers had initially planned to resume operations to Libya from February 20 onwards. Both carriers had suspended their flights to Tripoli from February 5 citing security concerns but have not yet received permission by Libyan authorities to resume operations. The two carriers now plan to resume flights to Tripoli from February 24.
