Etihad Airways (EY, Abu Dhabi International) will wet-lease a B747-400(F) freighter from Martinair (Netherlands) (MP, Amsterdam Schiphol) from the end of March as a next step of its partnership with Air France-KLM. Etihad had already announced plans earlier to wet-lease an A340-300 from Air France (AF, Paris CDG) for its route between Paris CDG and Abu Dhabi International. It plans to use the freighter on cargo routes from Abu Dhabi to Amsterdam, Dhaka, Frankfurt International and Hong Kong International. Etihad already operates two B777-Fs and two A330-200Fs itself and wet-leases a B747-400(F) from Atlas Air (5Y, New York JFK) and two A300-600(F)s from Maximus Air (Abu Dhabi International).
