Air Moana (NM, Papeete) is seeking up to nearly EUR17 million euros (USD19.8 million) in new equity at Natireva, the company that owns the Air Moana brand, the French aviation news website Air Journal reported, including a EUR5 million (USD5.8 million) private-investor tranche.
Crowdfunding platform Rattel AERO, which is involved in the private-investor component, subsequently confirmed that Air Moana was undertaking a wider equity-strengthening exercise and said around EUR5 million would be offered to private investors.
Rattel AERO said in a social media post that it would provide access to certain eligible international investors alongside investment platforms Fenua Financement and Les Entreprêteurs. Fenua Financement has set an objective of XPF597 million CFP francs (USD5.8 million) for that tranche, with a minimum investment of XPF30,000 (USD290).
As previously reported by ch-aviation, Air Moana announced in August 2026 that it planned to raise around XPF597 million through an equity crowdfunding campaign with Fenua Financement. The platform would pool investors through a dedicated investment vehicle to acquire a stake in Natireva.
The reported EUR17 million overall target is around EUR12 million (USD14 million) higher than the previously disclosed crowdfunding tranche. Air Moana has not disclosed how it would raise the balance and did not respond to ch-aviation's questions by the time of publication.
