Nordic Air Sweden (Umeå) has announced plans to now launch scheduled operations from Northern Sweden on March 28. It plans to base an E170 at Arvidsjaur and plans to offer three weekly services to Copenhagen Kastrup and two weekly flights to London Stansted, both operating via Skellefteå. On a weekly basis it also will offer a flight from Copenhagen Kastrup via Skopje to Beirut. The scheduled flights will be marketed under the FlySwedish brand name. Nordic Air Sweden also plans to operate charter services in cooperation with tour operators using A320-200s wet-leased from SmartLynx Airlines (6Y, Riga) when required.
