Africa West (Lomé) has added an B737-300(F) to its fleet with two ATR 72-200(F)/-500(F)/-600Fs set to arrive in June and October respectively. The Togolese operator plans to use the added aircraft to bolster its operations in West and Central Africa where new services have already been launched from Lomé to: Douala, Brazzaville and Pointe Noire with future plans to include Cotonou Cadjehoun, Port Gentil, Malabo, Niamey, Ouagadougou, Bamako and Monrovia Roberts. AfricaWest was taken over in 2011 by Global Investments Limited, a Dubai based company which acquired a 51% controlling interest in the airline.
