Viking Air (VKN, Victoria International) has announced the sale of an additional seven DHC-6 Series 400 Twin Otters to Vityaz Avia (Moscow Vnukovo). This now brings the total number of aircraft purchased by the Russian operator to eleven and marks the largest non-military order for the new Twin Otter. The turboprops are scheduled for delivery through 2015, and will be used to provide support to remote communities throughout the northern regions of Russia.
