HOP! (France) (A5, Paris CDG) has announced that Airlinair (Paris Orly), Brit Air (Morlaix) and Régional (Nantes) have all held general meetings during which the airlines validated their new status and name changes to HOP!-Airlinair (Paris Orly), HOP!-Brit Air (Morlaix) and HOP!-Régional (Clermont-Ferrand) as a means of improving their brand consistency. Most crucially, all have agreed to become a simplified joint stock company, governed by HOP!, which will see each airline's board of directors replaced with an executive council to be chaired by HOP! CEO, Lionel Guerin. Mr Guerin said the new corporate structures will reduce costs and expedite the decision-making process. HOP! is a wholly owned subsidiary of Air France (AF, Paris CDG) and operates 530 daily frequencies to 136 destinations with a fleet of over 100 regional aircraft operated by the three airlines. HOP!-Régional has meanwhile retired its last E135, F-GRGR (c/n 145236), from active service. An Air France (AF, Paris CDG) partner carrier, Régional, a prolific Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International) operator, had flown eleven of the type alongside its current fleet of nineteen E145s, sixteen E170s and ten E190s.
