Tiger Airways (Singapore Changi) has been rebranded as Tigerair (Singapore Changi) following an unveiling ceremony for the budget carrier's new logo and branding at its Melbourne Tullamarine base on Wednesday. All of its subsidiaries in Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines have also been rebranded with immediate effect with Tiger Airways Australia (Melbourne Tullamarine) now operating as Tigerair Australia (Melbourne Tullamarine), South East Asian Airlines (Angeles City Clark International) now operating as Tigerair Philippines (Angeles City Clark International) and Mandala Airlines (Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) as Tigerair Mandala (Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta). Tigerair plans to make use of the unified brand name to increase its market presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
