China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou) will launch international B787-8 operations with Guangzhou to Auckland International set to début from December 4. Despite having taken delivery of two Dreamliners thus far, owing to restrictions placed on new aircraft types operating on the Chinese registry by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the 787 is presently only allowed to operate on domestic Chinese flights between Beijing Capital, Guangzhou and Shanghai Hongqiao.
