Lao Airlines (QV, Vientiane) will acquire two A321-200s in 2015 for use in boosting its local and regional network. According to the airline's Director General, Phoutthasone Vannachack, among new flights planned are Vientiane to Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City with Lao Airlines' planes to replace Vietnam Airlines (VN, Hanoi Noi Bai International) metal on these sectors. As already mentioned, next year the airline plans to add two more ATR72-600s to its fleet, the first of which is expected to arrive in Laos in March and the second in August, Phoutthasone said.
