Hong Kong Express (Hong Kong International) has officially announced that it has started selling tickets for flights from Hong Kong International to seven destinations including Tokyo Haneda and Osaka Kansai in Japan, Chiang Mai and Phuket in Thailand, Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, Taichung Ching Chuan Kang in Taiwan and Kunming Changshui in China. Flights using its new low cost carrier business model are due to commence from October 27. With six A320-200s leased from parent Hong Kong Express (Hong Kong International), the airline expects to increase its fleet to 30 by 2018, double its routes by next summer, and increase the number of its employees from the current 232 to over 600 late next year.
