Zest Air (Manila Ninoy Aquino International) has rebranded itself to "AirAsia Zest" and has officially unveiled its proposed new hybrid corporate image which incorporates AirAsia (AK, Kuala Lumpur International) colours. As part of its plans to help Zest Air recover its financial footing following a four-day grounding by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines in August, AirAsia Philippines (Manila Ninoy Aquino International) recently announced it would discontinue its remaining loss-making Angeles City Clark International services with effect from October and concentrate all of its efforts on operations from Manila Ninoy Aquino International. Air Asia owns a 49% stake in Zest Air and reportedly plans to increase its shareholding further.
