Air Namibia (Windhoek International) has taken delivery of its first A330-200, V5-ANO (c/n 1451) from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) at a ceremony in Toulouse Blagnac last week. The aircraft is the first of two A330s being leased by Air Namibia from US lessor, Intrepid Aviation, and will replace two A340-300s used on long-haul flights to Frankfurt International. The second, V5-ANP (c/n 1466), is due in Windhoek International in November. The Namibian national carrier also operates four A319-100s on regional flights.
