NAM Air (IN, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) is scheduled to launch its maiden services between Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta and Pangkalpinang before the end of the month, The Jakarta Post reports. According to a spokesman from the start-up's parent, Sriwijaya Air (SJ, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta), “At this moment, preparations are being finalized. If there are no significant problems, the maiden flight will occur at the end of November,” he said. The airline received its flight permit (SIUAU) from the Indonesian Transportation Ministry in early October and must also obtain an Air Operators Certificate (AOC) to be able to begin its flight services. Nam Air has also set its sights on serving tourist destinations like Labuan Bajo, Ende, Larantuka and Roti in East Nusa Tenggara.
