Mauritania Airlines International (Nouakchott) will resume services to mainland Europe with effect from December 15. According to scheduling data at hand, the Mauritanian national carrier will offer a 3x weekly Nouakchott to Paris CDG via Casablanca Mohammed V service onboard its sole B737-700, 5T-CLC, msn 34263. Placed on the European Union's Banned Operators' List in November 2010, Mauritania Airlines International was able to extricate itself in December 2012 paving the way for it to resume its first European flights to Gran Canaria in May this year. The carrier also offers an extensive West and Central African network with Abidjan, Bamako, Brazzaville, Casablanca Mohammed V, Conakry, Cotonou Cadjehoun and Dakar Yoff-Léopold Sédar Senghor International flights. Nouadhibou and Zouerate are served locally.
